Fly-out destinations have included New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Miami, Washington DC, and Denver. Travel is quoted separately based on your location and team size.
How does travel pricing work for out-of-state sessions?
Travel is custom-quoted based on city and team size. Drive-distance destinations under 6 hours from Charlotte typically have a flat travel fee. Fly-out destinations include flight, ground transport, and hotel (if needed) rolled into one all-in number. We quote everything up front — no surprise charges.
Can you handle multi-office team sessions across multiple cities?
Yes. Multi-city corporate headshot tours are one of our specialties. One photographer means consistent lighting, posing, retouching, and brand styling across every office. Companies with teams in 3-10+ cities trust mjwphoto for unified visual brand consistency.
What's the minimum team size for an on-location booking?
Five people. Smaller teams can either invite a few colleagues to hit the minimum, or schedule a session at our Charlotte studio when in town.
How much space do you need at our office?
A 12x12 open area is plenty. A conference room, open lobby, or empty office all work. We bring everything else.
How long does each session take?
Setup is 30-45 minutes. Each person photographs in 3-5 minutes. A team of 20 typically wraps in 2-3 hours.
Can team members choose their own photo?
Yes. Right after each session, every employee receives a private online proof gallery via email with all the images taken. They pick their favorite at their own pace, send it back, and we retouch.
Do you handle retouching?
Every delivered image is professionally retouched (skin smoothing, blemish removal, color correction). Heavier edits available on request.
How fast is turnaround?
